This is the sixth installment in the popular "Off the Soundboard" series of official live bootlegs by the legendary rock band KISS. This time, it features a recording of a concert held on December 3, 1985, at the Hemisphere Arena in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The band consisted of Paul Stanley (guitar, vocals), Gene Simmons (bass, vocals), Eric Carr (drums, vocals), and Bruce Kulick (guitar, vocals). This is a live recording of the stage performance during their US tour supporting the album "Asylum," released in September of that year, where they performed new songs such as "Tears Are Fallin'" and "Ah! All Night." This is the first soundboard live recording from KISS's "Asylum Tour," following the official addition of guitarist Bruce Kulick to the band.

Please note that while "Off the Soundboard: San Antonio, TX 1985" will be released online as a 3LP and digitally only overseas, the CD release will be exclusive to Japan. This is a special item that KISS has specially authorized for CD release in Japan only, for their Japanese fans who have been passionately supporting them for over half a century since their debut in 1974.
